General

These terms of use apply to the Viran service operated by Stratospheric Cloud Oy (Business ID 3520574-3). By using the service or ordering its products, you accept these terms.

Service Description

Viran provides two products for public procurement:

  • Viran Bid Team: monitoring of procurement notices, suitability assessment, and preparation of bid documents for suppliers.
  • Viran Review: intelligent review of procurement documents for contracting authorities, grounded in Finnish procurement law and Market Court and Supreme Administrative Court case precedents.
  • Viran also provides free tools (CPV finder, NUTS finder, threshold calculator, procurement glossary) at viran.fi/tietopankki.

User Responsibilities

By using the service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your information up to date
  • Use the service in accordance with the law
  • Not misuse the service

Important:

  • We do not guarantee the completeness or currency of information in the service
  • We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose
  • Use of the service is at your own risk
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on service information
  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties

Each user is responsible for the accuracy of their own information.

Limitation of Liability

Stratospheric Cloud Oy shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and Viran trademarks of the service belong to Stratospheric Cloud Oy. Users retain rights to their own material and to third-party IP-protected material they submit to the service for processing.

Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify the service and these terms at any time. Changes will be announced in the service.

Termination

We may suspend access without notice if the terms are violated. On termination, customer material is returned and deleted according to the timeline described in the privacy policy.

Governing Law

Finnish law applies to these terms. Any disputes shall be resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
